Organisations in the Catalan speaking territories interested in offering these exhibitions may request them from the ClijCAT, which lends them temporarily for a very reasonable price.

CORREMÓN (“Globetrotter”)

corremón

Travelling is one most deeply felt yearnings for many people. For children and young adults especially, travel means adventure. However, there are many types of journeys and, as such, many types of books which speak of journeys. So much so, that in the first place it is necessary to define what is understood to be a journey.

As the exhibition shows, a journey means a break from daily life and its surroundings. It involves the discovery of the unknown, and gives rise to a mountain of questions which need answers which are not excessively preconceived or stereotypical. The journey, as the title of the show indicates, means the possibility which reading offers us to discover the world from our homes and the different ways of living which exist apart from our own.

T’ESTIMO… O NO (I LOVE YOU… OR NOT)

corremón

Affection and love form one of the great themes of universal literature, as much for young people as for adults. From the tradition of storytelling to the Homerian epics, from poetry to drama, from the novel, the tale, the popular book or the comic, emotional relationships are represented under a thousand masks (from animals, people, heroes, dolls) before each of its possible readers.

The exhibition presents the specific theme of affection and its sentimental and emotional manifestations, and shows the infinite masks under which this universal theme is presented to children and young adults.

A PENCAR! (OFF TO WORK!)
THE WORLD OF WORK IN CHILDREN´S AND YOUNG ADULTS´ BOOKS

corremón

The working world is very important. There may be boys and girls who wish to enter into it and do not know how to, nor which trade to choose. Not to worry! There are hundreds of books where they can find information or ideas.
